Bringing you to my home trails in Cape Town, South Africa. Our team is dedicated to providing the best biking and cultural experience with some local B&B and farm style dining. All you have to worry about is choosing the right line down the trail.

Plan your arrival and departure for an exciting biking adventure and culinary journey with The Trail Guru. Airport pickup at Cape Town International can be arranged.

Food & Drink

Local is "Lekker" in South Africa.

Our B&B options help fuel us with a local farm style breakfasts. Our support van always has fruit, bars, coffee and water for us. Lunches we do at local hotspots and dinners at some great Restaurants and a "Braai" will always be an option too!

5 Day Cape Trail Days

Experience Cape Town's best riding.

Starting in the City and ending in the wine region in a course of 5 days MTB riding. Great biking and great food. Shuttle support on most days. Expect dry and dusty trails trough the Cape Floral Kingdom!

Names like "Lions Head" and "Jonkershoek" near Stellenbosch should come to mind.

Intermediate riding to be expected.

8 Day Winelands Trails + African Experiences

This is the experience package!

We do biking around Stellenbosch's best trails and then also add on to the fun with wine tastings and shark cage diving activities to name a few.

a 700+ km Gravel Tour, fully supported. You just focus on riding, we do the rest.

Thanks to the Western Cape Government, we have a super gravel route, "Cross the Cape".

What is The Trail Guru Mountain Biking?

We ride the Cape and taste the best local foods on offer with a lot of South African Heritage.

Tough days out are always reward full afterwards with some of the best cuisine.

What are the tour accommodations?

Experience comfortable accommodations during our biking tours. We generally make use

of B&B style accommodation in the Cape Town and Winelands Regions.

Do I need to be an experienced biker?

The Trails we will be riding are mostly Red and Black graded MTB trails, a level of skill is

definitely required for dry, loose and rocky terrain.

What is the booking and cancellation policy?

How many tour options are available?

We are flexible to plan something great for you and your group and we do the fixed planed Enduro days from Jan-March ranging from 5-8 days per tour. Gravel tours are generally between 6-12 Days

How to start with a Custom Bike build?

All you have to do is get in touch with me. I trust a South African brand called PYGA who hand build their frames in Cape Town, South Africa. We can source you the right frame and then we decide together on what drivetrain and suspension you would like to run on your dream bike.
