Trans Madeira Enduro — Autumn Edition 2025 The Trail Guru
Madeira doesn’t hand out trails — it tests your character, then laughs quietly when you get it wrong.
The Trans Madeira Enduro – Autumn Edition 2025 was six days of holy dirt, volcanic chaos, and trail lessons delivered at speed.
Autumn painted the island in gold, but the ground stayed honest: sneaky roots, sharp basalt, and corners that rewarded patience… or punished optimism.
This wasn’t a point-and-shoot race. This was chess — played at 40 km/h. Brake late and you’d be negotiating with gravity. Stay loose, trust your tires, and suddenly the trail opened like it knew you personally. Porto Santo brought the spice: faster, drier, and perfectly designed to remind you that confidence without control is just future storytelling.
Camp life sealed the deal. Mud-splattered bikes, tired smiles, and the universal language of “Did you see that line?” Laughter came easy once the helmets were off — usually right after someone admitted they definitely had that corner until they didn’t.
By the final stages, riders were smoother, wiser, and suspiciously quiet — the sure sign the island had taught its lesson. Less ego. More flow. Big smiles.
Trans Madeira isn’t just an Enduro. It’s a reminder that the best rides are equal parts focus, fun, and finding out — preferably with friends, good dirt, and a story worth telling.
This was one of my best MTB experiences and I can only recommend this event!
